Or, I am buggered.

Okay. A few things have happened on the weekend, so I thought I'd put them down here.

Friday I went to see Black Rock at the Roo. I've not been to the Roo for a very long time and my God, has my theatre changed. There is air-conditioning, and a fancy bell to signal the end of interval, and the annex walls have been changed, and some of the doors have been replaced. The moral of the story is, if you don't go to a place for several years, it changes. What a crappy moral. The play was okay, though. My boss' father was in it, and he was good. Some of the others were also pretty good. The whole thing was okay, but I can't praise it too highly, since I don't like the director :D

I did get to see Jess, though, which was great.

I worked Saturday, from 7am. I hate mornings. After my shift, I caught a train up to the Opera House to see Tori Amos. I can't believe I spent over $100 to listen to a crazy woman screech like a banshee for two hours. And I absolutely loved it! She had amazing stage-presence. The lighting was fantastic; so dramatic! And her voice... Her vocals were perfect - she hit every, every note. It was... I have no words. Other than the ones already used, of course :giggle:

The trip back to a place to sleep was annoying. It is a long, complicated story that does not need to be repeated. Trains suck.

Sunday I hung out with Corey and Emma in city. We went shopping and I bought myself a book. Then we went back to their house and watched Pan's and Chumscrubber. Then I went home. Well, I ran to catch the train home, missed it by ten seconds, went back to their flat, waited for half an hour, went back to the train station, caught a train to Hurstville, waited an hour, and then went home. But yeah.

So yeah. Am tired. Am nearly broke. But I saw Tori.

Anyway.

Hope you are all well.

Even my other other card, which happens to be nvidia, was crashing. Apparently it is quite a widespread problem. But oh well. Cake is great anyway.

I figure I've played as much of Ep 1 as I can, so ON TO TWO!!

But also, cake.

Nope. Not yet. But I did get a shiny new companion cube. But still, it got me thinking with portals :D

I just want to finally finish episode one. Valve still hasn't fixed a bug with ATI graphics cards yet so mine has been crashing half way through. Sigh. But enough about my gaming problems.

Tori is indeed good. She was fantastic in concert, and she made me smile and dance.
